LSW301: Positive Change: Leader as Coach

Course Description : Design by Adler International Learning this two days plus 3 teleclasses introduce participants to the coaching skills, knowledge, and mindset that are increasingly necessary leadership competencies.

Participants who attend the two-day module, including the follow up tele-lab reinforcement program, will be granted (16) CCEU’s which can be used towards their ICF credential. (May be substitute by APC Module 1: Foundations of Professional Coaching).

LSW302: Legacy Leadership™

Course Description: Design by CoachWorks® International this three-day training program teaches leaders the Five Best Practices that enable them to live a legacy that actively grows the leaders of tomorrow and ensures continued organizational success. (This program will count as coach-specific training for those participants who wish to apply 24 hours to an ICF portfolio certification application).

Participants who attend the module can count it as 24 hours of coach-specific training for ICF portfolio certification.

 LSW310: Decision-Point Survey of Organizational Coaching Strategies

Course Description: This 2 days course is directed toward leaders who make decisions about purchasing and managing coaching services. A taxonomy and description of multiple organizational coaching strategies and presentation of a decision-making process helps consumers of organizational coaching services determine which strategy matches best with identified organizational problems. Design by Leadership Alliance specifically for the CLC certificate.

LSW320: Coaching and Consulting

Course Description: In this 2 days course designed specifically for the CLC, the focus will be on organizational structures, processes, and attitudes/culture. Participants are presented with concepts and tools that bridge the gap between consulting and coaching, as well as being presented with case studies and with decision-making processes regarding the appropriate use of coaching or consulting strategies at specific points in an organizational intervention. Design by Summitry Coaching.

LSW321: Coaching and Counselling

Course Description: This 2 days course designed by Adler School of Professional Studies specifically for the CLC is intended to provide the organizational decision-maker as well as the professional coach with the conceptual tools to understand the differences between coaching and counselling or other mental health services. The course will teach you the principles to guide the selection of coaching versus counselling for personal life transitions, stress, performance difficulties, and suspected pathologies will be presented.

LSW350: Legacy Leadership™ Level II: International Facilitator Certification Prerequisite: LCW302

Course Description: This 1 day course (1 in-person plus 9 hours teleclass support) was developed by CoachWorks® International to build on LCW required Course 301. It is directed to leaders who wish to extend their legacy by facilitating Legacy Leadership™ training publicly or with client organizations. (This program will count as coach-specific training for those participants who wish to apply 18 hours to an ICF portfolio certification application).

LSW Description

This Certificate provides coaching knowledge, skills, and mindset to enhance relationships and productivity for leaders in all types of organizational settings, from nonprofit and government agencies to primary, secondary and postsecondary schools, to small businesses, and to large corporations. Participants may choose electives to become certified trainers for Legacy Leadership™ or to become knowledgeable about utilizing various coaching and other human services in an organizational setting. The assumption is that participants are not intending to become professional coaches. However, Adler and CoachWorks® training provide an avenue for the student who wishes to utilize LCW training for future certification with the ICF or other certifying bodies.

  6. Provide coach-specific training to support ICF and other certification.
